| RULES |
| The MBBA's general guidelines will be as follows: Each contractor will pay a yearly membership fee of $100 Regular Season Entry Fees: Yearling Futurity: $250 Two Year Old Futurity: $350 (UBBI Co-sanctioned) Classic (3 & 4 yr olds): $450 (UBBI Co-sanctioned) Maturity (5 yr olds & older): $550 In the 2 yr old futurity and 3 and 4 yr old classics, and maturities, $30 per bull will be held out for MBBA sanctioning fees, which goes towards the MBBA year end finals. There will be $25 taken out per bull to go towards the UBBI, for the UBBI Finals and year end awards. An additional $75 per head will also be held out for pen fees and production drag, which will go to the producer of each event. In yearling futurities, there will only be $30 taken out for MBBA fees and $50 for pen fees. There will be a small $5 taken out of every entry fee for an office charge-for central entry system and website event update (this $5 is included in the $30 to MBBA) Event Producers may also choose to have added money to their events, but it is not required. Producers should use the Little Blue Dummy (14 lbs) for the yearlings and the Ultra Blue Dummy (25 lbs) for the 2 yr olds. You may rent one from the MBBA if you do not have the correct dummy. Events will be judged with 4 judges. Events will pay one hole for every four entries. Bulls DO NOT need to be registered, but proof of age must be documented. To sanction an event, you do not have to have every age division. Producers must provide sufficient pen space for individual bulls and agree to other terms found in the complete rulebook. Producers must send an additional flat $225 fee to the UBBI for sanctioning fees. |
| Example of payout with 32 head entered and above entry fees: Yearling event would pay about $1300 for 1st, with 8th place paying $325 2 yr old event would pay about $1680 for 1st, with 8th place paying $420 Classic event would pay about $2450 for 1st, with 5th place paying $615 Maturity (WITH 12 ENTERED) would pay about $2100 for 1st, about $530 for 4th (pays one spot for every 3 bulls entered) The MBBA wants its members to get a good paycheck for having a good bull! |
